Sally O’Dwyer
Audiological Scientist
Sally was instrumental in setting up the Audiology Department in Childrens Health Ireland Crumlin. She set up the new born hearing tests for babies for the country. Sally also has experience working in Beaumont Hospital Dublin and developed the audiology services in Tallaght University Hospital.Muthu Karthick
Audiological Scientist
Muthu is a highly skilled audiologist with expertise in peadiatric and adult hearing care. With over 2,500 newborn hearing tests performed, he is proficient in early hearing detection and skilled in hearing aid trials and fittings to meet the diverse needs of his patients. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from MERF Chennai in 2019 and initially worked as a Speech-Language Therapist, gaining valuable experience in communication disorders. Muthu then completed a Master of Science in Audiology from AIISH India in 2021, further deepening his clinical knowledge. Committed to enhancing his impact in healthcare, he pursued a Master’s in Public Health at University College Cork, completing his studies in 2024. Since joining Cork Hearing Clinic, Muthu has trained under Sally O'Dwyer, honing his skills and expanding his expertise. His diverse background and commitment to high-quality care make him an asset in delivering exceptional hearing services to patients of all ages.Emily O’Leary
Audiological Scientist
Emily has several years experience working in both private and public healthcare in Ireland. Emily has worked with the HSE community audiology services and with the audiology department in Childrens Health Ireland Crumlin and has a keen interest in adult audiology and hearing aid fittings. Emily qualified with an Honours degree in Optometry in 2016 from Dublin Institute of Technology and worked as an Optometrist for several years before completing her Masters of Science in Audiology from University College Cork in 2022.Emily started working with Cork Hearing Clinic in 2022 and received months of additional expert training under Sally O'Dwyer.
Pinky Savani
Audiological Assistant
Pinky started working at Cork Hearing Clinic in 2010. Pinky plays with babies and children during their hearing test. Pinky prides herself at making children feel comfortable and happy during their appointments. Pinky is an expert hearing aid fitter and repairer and can help with all hearing aid adjustments.Leah Horgan
Audiological Assistant
Leah is currently at the final stages of her hearing care studies with the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists. Leah has many years experience working with children and is great at putting children at ease during their appointments by playing games and drawing with them. Leah is an expert hearing aid fitter and has a keen interest in hearing aid repairs.Need help?
