I am one of a few Audiological scientists in the country. I have experience in assessing hearing levels in babies, children and adults of all ages, and also experienced in prescribing and fitting digital hearing aids to both children and adults.

I qualified with a Masters Degree in Audiological Science from the University of Manchester and an Honours Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from Trinity College, Dublin. My training involved two years of clinical internships in Audiology at numerous centres of excellence in the UK. Following qualification, I returned to work at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin and Tallaght Hospital Dublin, where I set up the Children’s Hearing Services. I have also worked at the most specialised hearing assessment centre in Ireland, the National Cochlear Implant Programme, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

I was instrumental in setting up the Newborn Hearing Test in hospitals in Cork and throughout Ireland.
